That I disagree on - Tomlin is one of the few coaches who get well more out of their team consistently in the NFL than they should,
This could easily be a 4-10 team today if not for the coaching staff - starting at the top. You’ll always have guys like Pickens on the team / but Tomlin has no problem calling them like they are.
I am admittedly not a fan of the team - but I respect Tomlin for what he’s done and many in the organization for managing change better than most in the NFL. It’s a tough league - and ability to adapt quickly determines success.
At the same time don’t try telling me a team that’s 20-1 to win it all is a “contender” - do they have a chance - absolutely. But so did everyone else to start the year. Only difference is they are still alive at this point - but with a very tough path to making it to the big game.
