I would watch the casino action there. I had a buddy of mine take their bonus which split sports and casino. Don't remember if it was on of their 50 or 100% FP sports/casino...something like that.

They pulled something on him which I had never seen. Rollover on top of rollover. It was something like 50% FP in the casino, 30x roll. Then when you finished that, you had to roll whatever winnings you got from that (if any) 30x more. Purely predatory. I think it ended up costing him $500 or $600 because of that. He had some winnings there, but they combine the total balance so he had to roll it to pull any funds even after his sports roll was done. Double check their rules on FP but it was complete crap.
Are you talking about BetUs here?

Yep....happened last fall around the start of the NFL season. He took their sports FP but they offered a casino FP as well. I don't remember specific amounts, but the gist of it was he rolled the casino FP and ended up with a profit. That converted to cash and they forced another 30x roll on the cash, which ended up being a loser and dipped into his overall cash balance. I had never heard of this before but I just looked at their website and see mention of double roll. Basically they are getting players to risk their general (sports) balance if they make anything on the casino side.

Again, people have to read the rules but this seems fairly predatory and should be spelled out at the time of the bonus IMO.

So it was a "Double Roll" on the casino FP/winnings but did he have the same situation on the Sports FP (a double roll) too or were they combined?

Crazy stuff here. But, yeah. Read the rules closely.

So it wasn't double on the sportsbook side. He finished that roll and basically found out that his funds were held "hostage" until the 30x casino roll was done on the profit he made from the "free" casino play.

I think he ended up getting hit for $500 or $600. Nothing massive but it was more of letting someone know first on that unusual rule (seems unusual at least to me...I don't play the casino side online). Probably not rigged, but makes you think...have a player clean up on the "free" play and balance that out on the 30x roll when their other balance is at risk. Just leaves too many open questions to me.

Maybe the moral of the story is keep sports and casino separate. Don't mix anywhere. And...read the rules.

I’m always very leery when a book says about a sports bonus - “and we also throw in spins or whatever in the casino”
