| Analysis: The bats have finally come alive for the Texas Rangers and that's good news for them today as they'll take on the Baltimore O's Tomoyuki Sugano tonight. I've been looking for a spot to fade Sugano and this is the perfect one. Sugano has gone 3-3 with four no decisions in his last 10 starts that covers May and June. His past two starts were on 6 days rest and now the O's are throwing him on just 4 days of rest. He has regression written all over him and I expect the Rangers bats to continue to pounce on mediocre to bad pitching. The Rangers will send Eovaldi back to the mound for his 2nd start off the IL. His last start against the Mariners didn't fare well and he only went 3 innings and gave up 3 runs on 5 hits. He's still working his way back into form. The O's lineup is finally healthy and more than capable of putting up runs against a pitcher looking to work his way back into shape. I see runs coming from both these lineups tonight and there is just too much value on the OVER in this spot. |
