The Pirates have been respectable at home this season, while the Dodgers are a sub-500 road team. Dodgers starter Blake Snell has been in and out of the lineup, dealing with injury and paternity leave. I don’t know if he has the right mindset to match up against Paul Skenes. Skenes at even money is always a bargain. There is no better pitcher on the mound to try to complete the series sweep against an outstanding Los Angeles team. Take the Pirates.

The Pick: My 75 Dime winner is the Dallas/Philly Over the total.

The Line: The current line is -47 1/2 at the majority of books in Vegas and offshore as of 10:50 am EST. Be sure to shop around for the best line available.

My Analysis
I just can't see this as a low scoring affair.

Last year in week one the Eagles defense, which would go on to become the best in the league last year, gave up 29 to Jordan Love and the Packers.

Now that defense had to replace Darius Slay, CJ Gardner-Johnson, Josh Sweat, Milton Williams, Isaiah Rodgers, Brandon Graham and Bryce Huff.

I don't care what team you are, that is a lot.

This Cowboys offense, with the edition of George Pickens, is going to be lethal and I believe will have success tonight against this revamped Eagles defense

Speaking of which, this Dallas defense last year was ranked 29th in the league defensively in stopping the run.

And we also know their best defensive player now plays for the Packers.

I just don't see, and I don't care what Jerry Jones is howling at the moon about, this Cowboys defense coming out of the box and shutting down this Philly offense.

These two have gotten Over the posted total 5 of the last 6 meetings and 7 of the last 9!!!!1

That is good enough for me as I ride this one to the high side tonight.

Let's get over that posted total tonight.
