Pirates/Rockies Over 10.5 runs

The Rockies have the best slugging percentage in the National League since the All-Star break and impressed last night against Paul Skenes. Colorado then tacked on a few runs against the bullpen. The good news for the Pirates is that they face Bradley Blalock. Blalock has not had much success in his short career. The Pirates’ offense has struggled this year, but they have looked sharp over the previous few nights. It’s been the pitching and bullpen that have done them in. I don’t trust their bullpen in this series, and certainly don’t trust the Rockies’ bullpen. I don’t see both teams locking down the opponents late in the game. Look for another offensive explosion as the Pirates try to avoid the sweep. Take the Over.
