I’ve learned over the years that the first two weeks or so at Saratoga are usually the toughest. The big outfits have usually have their horses ready to roll at short prices. The rich owners live to make a splash early on when everyone is watching. I used to bet like a lunatic early in the meet and would always get crushed. Today ends week number two, I’ve been disciplined, but now it is time to pay attention. Especially once horse start going second time over the track.

Grade I on the jumps. All the big jumps trainers are involved. Landed on the longer half of Brion entry. She apprenticed under Hall of Famer Jonathan Sheppard, she has a huge barn, knows jumps, knows turf, but has been somewhat inconsistent since breaking out on her own. I’m keeping the faith, especially at big prices.

Motion with first time starters on turf up here has been gold over the years. Going a mile and a half, which is odd. But trust that Motion Knows what he’s doing. Currently 9-1, so kind of being ignored, which I love.
