Damn.... I wanted Teoscar Hernandez (LAD) but he's not playing today and Ohtani isn't playing either (wouldn't have picked him anyway - no value). I hate copying the guy in front of me but my next best pick is the same as his. It has a +4.3% EV.




The weather across the games today isn't great except for LAD/COL and STL/TB and the latter game has two decent pitchers who don't give up a ton of HRs.

Screw it. I'm going with the same pick. At least I got better odds.

I wouldn't have a problem with it.

What's crazy about it, is that normally the opening odds are the best and they slowly die as the game approaches as value gets squeezed out of them. In the case of Page, it went up. I wonder if it has something to do with both Ohtani and Hernandez being out of the game. Maybe the batting order changed making Page more vulnerable to be walked.?.?

I think I'll work a little harder to avoid this going forward to avoid problems.
It was just a small card and crappy weather in almost every ballpark except two.
