Should you put your kid in MMA lessons or is it too violent?

Absolutely it is tremendous for a young man or woman to be in either MMA, Boxing, or Wrestling. Honestly it is more about who is teaching it than the sport. Kids need to be taught respect, discipline, hard work, failure, and success. A good teacher will find a way to teach this no matter how talented or untalented the kid is.

Knowledge is power so yeah I will put them into something with an older Master so it reinforce them to respect elders something like Wing Chun or Shaolin...also put them into firearms training courses in case they want to carry concealed weapons too...can't let them have false sense of security.

If I had a wife I'd have 2 little boys.

Hockey players, baseball kids, football, just general rough housing.

They'd be alpha males because they'd beat the shit out of each other whilst still respecting each other.

I'd get them playboys early in life too so they learn about women.

Do MMA athletes suffer from CTE (Chronic traumatic encephalopathy) like football players?
I always wondered if there was a concern for this in MMA.
reasons why i like mma, you don't get CTE as often as NFL players for example. here's an article to elaborate, "Statistically speaking, 25-33% of MMA fighters suffer from CTE, this includes fighters within the UFC as well. MMA fighters have a lower chance of getting brain damage compared to boxers and NFL players."
