also, wanted to share something that was shared with me --

You know Goldilocks and the 3 bears? Well mama bear and papa bear are getting a divorce.

In court they bring in baby bear. The judge puts baby bear on the stand and asks him who he'd like to live with?

"Well not papa bear he beats me," says baby bear.

"So mama bear?" asks the Judge.

"Oh no she beats me even worse than papa bear" says baby bear.

"So who would you like to live with?" the Judge asks curiously.

"My grandma bear in Chicago." says baby bear.

"Your grandma bear doesn't beat you?" asks the Judge?

"Oh no the Chicago Bears don't beat anyone."
Joking about the bears shows you have a good attitude accepting "your" team.
I usually throw things at the TV when my team sucks.

Fields isn't bad at all, he just needs help. Trade the first pick for multiple picks and build around him.
I agree. Didn’t watch much Bears games this year but from what I saw there were receivers who constantly dropped the ball. I think there was even one game where they could’ve won but for a dropped pass. I will laugh if Bears pick a QB as it’s a waste of a pick. Improve that team around him.

Get Anderson and then get some receivers. Geez, most people wrote off Hurts and then Philly drafted Smith R1 and traded for AJ Brown and now Hurts was even looking good for MVP, but for the injury.

Bears should trade down if a stupid team gives up a lot but I’ll be shock if a team will be stupid enough. There’s no Burrow or Luck type of QB in this draft.

If anything, teams need to look at Niners as a cautionary tale. Picked Smith over Rodgers where they could’ve traded down and got more picks and Rodgers. And then 2 years ago, traded up for Lance who’s going to be a bust or at best a R3-4 type QB but NOT R1 As compared to maybe the ROY and Brock “the next big thing” Purdy will win some Super Bowls where he was picked last.

they MUST build the team around fields. but given their history, you think they will make the right choice here?

I think they should give the kid one last year, he just really needs to work on his passing game.

scott kacsmar thinks "At the end of the day, my decision for the Bears would be to sit on this No. 1 pick for as long as possible, if not until there is a minute left on the clock on draft night. Wait for the best offer possible to come in and do not jump at anything early.

In the meantime, I would thoroughly interview and study the top quarterbacks (Young, Stroud, and Levis) in this draft. Fields has not been successful enough after two years nor is he too much of a financial burden to stay committed to him for 2023.

If the Bears feel one of these quarterbacks can take them the places they want to go, then they should draft him No. 1 overall and move on from Fields much in the way the Cardinals moved on from Josh Rosen to Kyler Murray in 2019."

and honestly i dont think that would be a bad route to go either.

what do you guys think?
I'm no Bears fan but I think they're crazy if they replace Justin Fields. I think he's only going to get better because he's still young and has plenty of room to grow. I don't know who I'd draft with the number 1 pick but I wouldn't take a Quarterback. Besides imo I don't think the Quarterback class in this years draft is that strong.
