Incorrect. Parental responsibility never existed before this decade as a law. Parents never fired a shot.

If we start going down this road, then every parent who raises a criminal should go to jail, every parent whose child drops out of school and commits a crime, every parent who raises a failure that becomes homeless or becomes a drug dealer should go to jail?

The boy made threats a year ago. Authorities knew he was a problem. They did nothing.

1st- a subjective age is imposed as thou its a natural law (16, 18, 21, etc)

2nd- it's never the criminals fault

3rd- must be a reason that follows liberal blame protocols. White male? Bullied? Taken advantage? Raped the willing, etc

4th- shop for a district & judge that will allow the indictment or charges no matter how ridiculous or weak

Correct - BUT

a. An AR-15 is not a “small” caliber rifle - closest is a .308 Win cartridge. a traditional deer hunting round for year - big enough to take out 140# deer - big enough to take out an adult human. Most ”kids” start on a .22 - a .22 is what 55-60 grain - 7.62x51 is closer to 150 - 3x the power.

b. RESPONSIBLE ADULT - a responsible adult doesn’t weaponize a kid AFTER an FBI investigation into that kid threatening to shoot up his last school.

Again - I hate when one moron discredits the work of literally 10,000 volunteers out there teaching gun safety - but it happens. Does this mean we should ban all guns - no. Does it mean we should teach people giving regular access to a weapon to a kid is a bad idea - probably.

Take school shootings out of the picture even - just as a suicide prevention tool it would make a huge difference.
