EMERALD has been open since 1996. Big crowds. Expensive food. Lol Great time. My hot systems. Racing keeps me entertained all spring and summer. I'll slip into a deep depression if they take it away forever.

Yeah that’s crazy. Can’t take away the fun and entertainment. Keeps me occupied. I watch the races everyday and bet them online.

How many even go to a race these days ?

Haven’t been in 8 years myself - it’s all online.

Last time I was there at the simulcast area - a single clerk working and like 3 degenerates hanging out.

Even on live racing days - it would be dead with 99% of the people in casino area.

Can’t expect tracks to survive in populated areas.

Very crowded. Race only 3 days a week. Starts 4-27 I live like 10 minutes from track.

I thought the same thing about Turf Paradise out in Phoenix. But they ended up striking a deal and they are still opened

If EMD closes no more racing ever again. Will they use it for simulcasting only? Or tear it down?

I’m surprised they don’t move all horse racing to four states that draw crowds
