I don’t get it myself - guess 40 mill is too good to pass up for him.

As great of a player as he was - those days are over. He’s a competitor - not a coach/analyst.

The more I think about it though - he’s the exact opposite of JJ:

- Bald by choice
- Successful
- Highly paid for his insights and commentary
- Winning gambler
- Women throw themselves at him
Still id rather read another JJ post than have to listen to MJ give comments on the current NBA - he needs to enjoy retirement and focus on business and not chase every dollar he can grab - even if it is “easy” money/

I'm thinking maybe he's already got bored with his retirement routine, and boredom is the reason why he accepts this deal.

Probably so - but he’s got irons in alot of fires already.

It’s not like he he is just sitting around waiting for something to do.

With MJ - it’s always about increasing his “brand awareness” and the value of that brand.

Should look at guys like Kareem and Magic though - be a businessman first and know basketball will always be a part of your story - but find other ways to contribute.

Jordan is just one of those people who grew up “poor” but not really because they were always working to achieve something more. Needs to learn to step back and realize there is such a thing as having enough - and he reached that mark a few billion ago.
