Of course i can i registered with GAMSTOP in December 2018 and SPORTNATION who is in partnership with GAMSTOP still allowed me to be on their site and send offers to my emsil address. Both of them got the same details . I contacted SPORTNATION for a refund from December 24th onwards and they refused what shall i do now? Thanks

Did you also try to contact GameCare? I'm really not very particular with the process but since you mentioned that they are a partnership, maybe GameCare can asist you or give you advice as well.

Just done it. I contacted GAMSTOP and GAMCARE and they believe i should get my money back. Soccer star dont be a idiot

And how come Gamstop didn't prevent you from using the site? Will they be able to assist you about your claim?

They told me to contact SPORTNATION and take it from there. Thats what im sayibg GAMSTOP and SPORTNATION should have stopped me

Hi looking for help,
so I joined up with gamstop obviously I have a serious gambling addiction or I wouldn’t be here The other evening the urge to want to gamble was stronger than ever, I managed to log into paddy power with no issues and deposit a lot of money (no i didn’t win) at this point I thought I must have not completed the registration with gamstop so off I went to chase my losses tried to log into 5/6 sites with no such luck. I in fact had managed to sign up but paddy power didn’t stop my from depositing money (they are on gam stop list of partners who work with gamstop) so I then contacted paddy power who are passing me pillow to post no direct phone number all online I am assuming in all hopes I give up on wanting my deposits back. I am assuming the next step will be that they will not be refunding me, please could I have any help in trying to get my money back as some as the above people have. From reading threads of how I managed to gain access I saw that if I had if won they would have not paid out. All my my gam stop details are exactly the same as my paddy power accounts. Thank you

Gamstop should be providing this sort of dispute resolution service to registered users of Gamstop.

No bookmakers just refund losses if registered as people expect, and there appears to be no real consequences for either Gamstop or their bookmakers.

Hi I opened a Betfair account this week, they emailed saying account was verified then they closed it told me I self excluded in 2010, they said recognised as a problem gambler , I said if that’s the case surely my deposits should be refunded , they told me no and to check back when outstanding bets are up , this seems wrong

Sadly like you I have gambling problems and also excluded from every online bookmaker.

However I have recently like you been able to open two accounts with bookmakers and on both occasions have been successful in getting back my money, only this week getting £2300 back.

If you have all your emails then I believe you have a very strong case.

Initially on both my disputes I was told after umpteen emails that I was NOT getting my money back. However the trick is then to write back and ask for your file to be reviewed by the management for their full and final decision before your refer your file to the gambling licensing authority which in this case is in Malta .....which may be a problem I am not sure. They have a duty of care once you have applied for permanent self exclusion and obliged to make every effort to stop you and just because you have a different email in my opinion is not a valid reason .

Don't let it drop...get it referred to ma management...in both my cases when I did this I got an answer back in a day with full refund....I don't think they really understand the rules on self exclusion so just hope you will go away...but it is a serious breach of their licence if they let self excluded people gamble.

I was wondering if anyone could help me out as my account has been frozen an won’t release my money from coral,
I used to be with ladbrokes an I self excluded my self which was up in March 2020 , so instead of getting my account unlocked I went with coral ( not knowing it was a sister account)
Every thing was fine I put £100 to casino a won £200 so I took it out ,I then put another £500 - £600 in the following day an lost the most of it got it back up to £600 an went to with draw it so they asked me for I’d which I gave them and they now stated my account has been closed but won’t release my money due to me self excluding myself from ladbrokes, we’re do I stand ?
All help would be much appreciated
