How do you do that?

Students aren't going to give a crap about the $500k. They will want to celebrate.

Even if schools put in "barricades", students will get around it so you'll have to do it with additional security (even the effectiveness of that is questionable).

Also, how do you know which games should have extra security in case there is an upset? You can't plan for it 90% of the time when it happens. It's called an upset for a reason. So, do schools have extra security for every game? That would be insanely expensive for a "just in case it happens" event.

I don't see how this will work out but it will be fun watching schools write huge checks for storming the field.

same with college basketball. give players/coaches 45-60 seconds to leave court and then let fans rush the court

Let them sign an agreement stating that whoever tries to violate this rule should pay or be expelled from school, lol. Just add more cameras on the field so no one can escape from the liability haha

From what l have heard and understand is the fine used to start at $100,000, so schools would gladly pay that fine in exchange for letting the fans storm the field/court after a massive victory

I take it rushing the basketball court or any other type of field also applies. If you consider a small school upsets a big school 500,000 is a lot of money to the small school.
