If you get 14 teams into the field you better have at least 7 Sweet 16 teams given all the trash teams that get auto bids

There's a reason that 14 teams got bids; top to bottom, it's the best conference by a mile. Yes, there can be some bias in the selection committee but nowhere near that much.

Sure but it’s also possible 14 teams was too much and hence it’s overrated even if a great conference

After a shaky start, UConn came into the Florida game having won 20 of 28 and they were two time defending champs; I wouldn't call that a bad team.
