Was asked why Kentucky tonight, so here's a short analysis from my notes: Bama is a really good team while UK is young and energetic. It is very tough to win at Rupp and the crowd will be extra juiced today with a ranked SEC rival in bama in town, the kids respond well to the home crowd as they have won 3 of their last 4 SEC games inclluding an impressive road win against a ranked Auburn team last Saturday. Bama also has a leaky defense, giving up 92 points in 3 of their last 4 games, this doesnt bode well for a UK team at home who also has a good defense which olds their opposition to 41.8% shooting, and are elite at guarding the 3 point sot, holidng opponents to 31.9%. In short, Bama probably wont have the same level of offensive success, with the road crowd, and UK's elite defense especially from outside.
