The hype in Colorado and his father's comments kind of set this kid up for the criticism.
Compare to others who just played the game well and were not as outspoken....

Cam Ward and even Travis Hunter were less of a clown show than Shadeur. Look at Ashton Jeantry, seemed like a classy guy.

No - but he can’t pin it 100% on his dad here.

The draft showcase special debacle wasn’t dad’s doing. He will never live that one down and only more fuel for that fire that he lives in a bubble and thinks he’s like a freaking Manning. He’s good - but needs to learn some humility.

I doubt he does that in 4 months - and if he manages to somehow walk in and win the QB competition out of ineffective competition and a Flacco injury - it may not be a good thing for him. He looked good playing against a bad teams 3rd stringers and fellow rookies. Let’s see him do it versus Pittsburgh when it matters in December.

I still just question if his head is on straight. Is he going to be a clown with all the antics like in college or get serious and play professionally like a Burrows or a Jackson?

I think he has some skills but leave out the BS.
