He seemed to have left very quick and peacefully from what I saw in the videos. I don’t blame the guy I feel terrible for him.

I think the issue here is that he left.

He didn't shake Bryson's hand aftertthe match? No press after all that happened out there? Not a good look from a sportsmanship perspective.

Maybe he had somewhere to be.

I probably would have shaken hands, but then again, with so much on the line, with so much put into getting to just that spot, I would admit it might take some serious discipline to get over myself and humbly walk up to Bryson. But I'm pretty sure I'd do it.

Like 98% sure....lol.

Same with facing the media. I might do it, but I can see why one would want to bail too.

I’m sure he was devastated.

Probably having a mental health crisis losing in the fashion he did. I know I would have. Knowing if I make a three footer and a two footer on the last three holes I’m the US Open champ, and end the long major drought, only to blow them.

I never been a fan of him here and even less now
I’ve lost a lot of $$ on him over the years. Thought I had a perfect chance to freeroll him yesterday with some good odds. (I had Bryson to win $300, and had won $300 on G4 Edmonton). Basically risked that to win $2950 on Rory.

Never been so pissed to break even +300, +300, -640 in my life.

I’m sure he was close to -450 to -500 or so when he went up by two on the back nine. Probably about that or higher when Bryson missed his 5-footer with four holes to play and Rory led by one again.

I never checked live odds, or BMR, and watched with the sound down because I didn’t want to listen to Chamblee or Tirico.

I was so sure he was going to get it done the way he was playing through 14. Near perfect while Bryson was spraying his driver all over the course.

Oh I'm pretty sure he had diarrhea.

During the last part of his final round.
