Sammy this thought just came to me as I was watching some reels of here and now clips of the American Pie cast. Has anyone ever mentioned that you look like Jason Biggs ?

@samsncharge99 I will have to pick your brain about when my company should attempt to buy new trucks from the GMC dealership...I've been told that there isn't much of a margin on new trucks and the best I could hope for is to buy them around Christmas time when the dealership is in crunch mode to make their target goals. That have some truth to it?

trucks have the most mark up on them, so the dealer 100% has room to maneuver. End of year isn't really a thing anymore. Pre covid 100%. End of month was insane deals and end of year to finish off year.

Honestly December we do a ton of business deals b/c that's when accountants tell their business owners to buy vehicles as a tax write off.

I have a GMC dealer connection, I can get an idea on mark up and deals whenever you are ready. If you own the company, I'd suggest talking to your accountant b/c typically DECEMBER is the time to buy for the write off.

This is great info. I'd love to get an idea of best time of year to buy and i prefer to buy outright. GMC Sierra Denali Utlimate 3500 longbed. This is the dealership I've done business with and the truck.

yea I mean on their website it shows a 9500 discount. Now I will say NYS is one of the best states to buy a vehicle. Doc fee is capped and GAP insurance is capped where as other states you can be charged 999 doc fee and over 1000 for GAP insurance. Granted if you pay cash you don't need GAP

But i've seen tint being charged, VIN etching in windows, paint protections being automatically added into the price. Real sketchy shit.

I know the stereotypes of my job and I love turning the table on their expectations vs reality when I overcome every objection and prove how trustworthy I am.

Make sure to not pay over MSRP or fall for the bullshit addons. I SELL ADD ONS. I don't force addons. there's a difference. I sell value. I'm not a scumbag and charges over sticker or forces add ons. That's how we do business. I can't speak for other dealers especially other states.

So again back to main 1st point...the dealer has a 9500 discount right on website. I didn't keep looking into it to see what potential other BS chargers they might charge or throw out there. Check the terms and conditions. Ask for a breakdown of all the numbers including taxes and fees

ASK FOR THE OUT THE DOOR NUMBER CASH PRICE....if they refuse or say you must be present at the dealership in order to get numbers....RUN AWAY, they are hiding something
