You can probably buy up all these Funkos at $15 a pop and resell them for more.

JJ, you can start your next roll here. 💰

I get Ozzy and what he was made out to be for years isn’t everyone’s cup of tea - no issues with that.

But end of the day he was a PERSON - the whole prince of darkness but was something he did to make money. Just like pro wrestling or actors in a movie - some people play a role because it makes them famous/infamous - hell, even a few posters do that.

Ozzy the person did a lot and people sometimes missed that because of the role he played for so long. He dealt with a lot of issues in his life - some of them very poorly for years. Thankfully he turned his life around and hung around much longer than many of his contemporaries.

Parkinson’s is a very rough disease - his past likely didn’t help, but also likely didn’t cause it either. Seen some fine people reduced to nothing with that disease - just like ALS - it can quickly take perfectly “healthy” people and simply take away their ability to do anything physical, while leaving you with a perfectly functional mind. It’s a tough one to watch. Thoughts are with the family and friends and the many fans.

I was jamming to his old music. 76 he lived a drug life and that's a long time for his way of life. As a kid I would think that the guy was evil. He wasn't that was just the way it looked to me when I was younger. RIP now Ozzy it's time to rest. 👊 🙏

R.I.P. to a legend, but honestly…..

Did anyone ever think “The Prince Of Darkness” would’ve even made it into his 70’s?!?!
you could have given me +5000 5 years ago that he makes it to 70 and i would have not taken it.

for his new material, i really like "I Don't Wanna Stop" by him that came out in 2007. my dad turned me to that song.

Those are the two albums that put him back on the map. He owes Randy Rhoads almost his whole career.

I think both he and Sharon acknowledged Randy’s contributions many times over and have done nothing to suggest that he wasn’t a huge boost to Ozzy’s career when it looked like it may have been over.

Whole career - no, he owes that to a combination of people and some incredible good fortune. But you can’t mention the story of one of those 2 without the other being the most interesting chapter in the book. Randy slots in solidly as one of the greatest musicians and guitar players of all his generation but he needed a singer. Likewise, Ozzy needed someone who was going to make him want to get back to music and not lay around drunk all day around this time. They fed off each other in that yin/yang way. Sadly Randy passes way too young - but in doing so likely made Ozzy realize how quickly life can be taken away and kept him going playing as that’s the only thing he truly understood it feels like - a life making music.

👍🍺

Ozzy has that voice that the second you hear it - you know it’s Ozzy.

Much like Eddie Van Halen’s guitar - the SECOND you hear it, you know instantly who it is - and you instantly start rockin’…..
