Very sorry for your loss Sam a friend here had to put her dog down after about 15 yrs this week , it hard, i had to put 2 down and that one reason i dont think i will ever get another one, it just so very hard in the end.again very sorry

RIP Nala. 6/1/13 - 7/25/23. Pleural effusion is the main cause of death. Fluid in her lungs causing problems with breathing.

I feel empty. Ive had her since she was 6 weeks old. She brought so much happiness to my life. My porch companion. My cuddle buddy.

I’ve been hesitant to get a dog because I know I’ll love that thing so much and have to go through the pain of losing at some point.

Frankly we humans are pieces of sh!t in so many ways

Dogs/animals don't judge you, don't hold grudges, and love you no matter what

You could mistreat them and and they still come back & are loyal to you
