Heard it this morning.

Helluva nice guy - met him a few dozen times over the years at various events back in the Ohio Valley. Always pleasant and willing to talk baseball.

I’m not sure if he owned or it was another family member who owned the golf course down in Rayland - but have many memories of going down there playing along the river.

How many of the ‘60 Pirates are left now ? 4 ? Roy Face I know just passed like last week - Only one I can think of right now is Vern Law who is hanging in there at 95 out in SLC I believe - still signing autographs too to raise money for his son Vance and his treatments (Vance played several years in MLB himself).

Yeah my Dad will be that age on 7-27 he’s still going strong. Playing golf etc
