How bad does your pitching staff have to be to give up 24 runs ? Not sure what the biggest output of runs is ( Modern Day ), that has to get some sort of mention.

Wow. BAL used 5 pitchers. Each allows between 3 and 7 runs.

that’ll ruin a teams ERA for a while.

Most runs scored by a single team is often cited as the Chicago White Stocking beating Lousiville 36-7.

That was in 1897.

In 2007 the Texas Rangers won a game 30-3.

Guess who they beat.....Baltimore.

Atlanta beat Miami 29-9 in 2020.
Chicago White Sox beat the Kansas City A's 29-6 ub 1955
Boston beat the St. Louis Browns 29-4 in 1850.

Toronto beat Boston 28-5 in 2022.

And there are quite a few games where teams have scores 25 or more points. I'm looking at 17 more since 1900.

Today's blowout was a pretty decent upset. Maybe the biggest underdog of all the big blowouts.

Definitely the biggest dog in the 2000's to be on the winning end of one of these.
