Reminder: On Aug. 6 2020 Trump signed an executive order to ban Tik Tok calling it a security threat. He's just pandering to you loons that don't know any better now for likes.

Correct.

Trump signed an executive order to ban TikTok citing national security reasons. He then met with an investor in Bytedance, the parent company, and immediately declared that he did not want to ban TikTok because it would help Facebook and Zuckerberg and he said he didn't like Zuckerberg.

Was our national security for sale?

But now, Trump will follow the law and force the sale of the company, something we all always knew would happen. It's just happening at the last hour.

I'm seeing a lot of TikTok posters pointing out new ties from TikTok to Facebook.

1) it appears TikTok changed servers during the outage. Meta is a huge server provider.
2) The Facebook update that became available Saturday has the same layout with buttons on the right of the screen just like TikTok.
3) When you try to link a TikTok post the web address starts with (null) instead of www.tiktok........

Some conspiracy theorists think Zuckerberg is taking over TikTok (at least 50% of it). Trump mentioned in a tweet, he's good with TikTok staying as is if someone in US controls 50%. Congress wanted 100% US control so there is a disconnect somewhere.
