Yes but remember he was a Buck before he came to the Lakers. Kobe played his entire storied career for the Lakers and had a number of impressive accolades and championships. No doubt Kareem is higher on the list of NBA all time greats but I think there's no question Kobe is the best Laker ever.

yeah but Kareem also played a lot of years in LA (like 14-15) and had higher peak while there IMO

I guess if Kobe is greatest Laker ever, then LeBron should be greatest overall player ever by that logic
