Did you ever get up to Mason City? They used to have a steakhouse called Northwestern Steak House (or something very similar). There was also one on Ames but I know it closed.

The steaks were awesome as were the homemade rolls. They cooked the steaks in butter to perfection. We'd go there for special occassions... Bringing back some memories.

NO, grew up about 75 miles west of Mason City and never spent much time there..........drove thru 100 + times.
