Honestly, it seems like Penn St widens the gap each year:
1) Now, Penn St easily picks up top transfers at their discretion to fill weights.
2) The Penn St room is so good. These guys improve with training partners.

If I was the Iowa AD, I'd think hard about letting the Brands go. If David Taylor decided to go into coaching, that's the coach to target. New ideas, new techniques, Iowa looks like a dinosaur.

The win over Iowa state was impressive, TRUE FRESHMAN Gabe Arnold was a great recruit.

Did you ever get up to Mason City? They used to have a steakhouse called Northwestern Steak House (or something very similar). There was also one on Ames but I know it closed.

The steaks were awesome as were the homemade rolls. They cooked the steaks in butter to perfection. We'd go there for special occassions... Bringing back some memories.
