Let me get this straight. We as a forum are going to lose ALL of the poster sponsored contests because of one person who JUST showed up as Sunshine11? So all of us will be punished instead of NOT letting Sunshine11 continue to participate? Make it make sense.

I've got a contest rolling now (CFB Weekday Madness). It'll continue but we'll see how much trouble it is paying winners at the end. If its a pain.... Maybe I'll stop offering them up when I have good runs as well. For now, we'll at least finish that contest.

If posters would accept with BTC payouts only, it would make like way easier.

Yeah, I have the receipt. The check should be good for at least 90 days. I’m assuming at some point if it doesn’t arrive at her place or come back to me, I can go back to Walmart again get a refund and then I can cashapp her the money. She is too lazy or too ignorant to take the steps in order to get paid. Again, not my problem and I’ve already suggested this to her.

If you want to make this right with everyone, you could take 1/4 of your winnings ($250) and give back to the forum with your own contest

Or how about donating a portion of it to Red Cross, NC relief in the name of CK, local animal shelter or other worthwhile cause.

Honestly - this is one of those things I’ve never really been a fan of - forum contest. It’s fine when it’s sponsored by a book/the forum itself - but even then you have drama in roughly 1/4 of the contest if not more. When it’s poster sponsored - just feels like more issues and god forbid you do a post up contest - seems like 99% of the time someone is pissed about something.

At its best - it’s a legitimate way for posters to win some cash and build a following as a capper and for others to get free access to plays from a handicapper with a fully validated track record. Of course things go off course.

At its core - it’s a simple issue. Sunshine won and should be congratulated for this. If there is any issue with not being paid - it should be PRIVATELY handled between posters. If for whatever reason sunshine wasn’t paid - poster can report to BMR - but again not as if there was a LOSS here at its worst.

It’s like when I get one of those envelopes from a time share or car dealer telling me I’ve won one of 3 fabulous prizes and all I have to do is stop in to claim it - I don’t bitch because they give me the hard sale or when the deluxe home stereo system I won is a $3 AM/FM radio from China. I just learn my lesson and move on - thats what should be done here.

Sunshine has been a regular contributor here for 2 years - not a real fan of people ganging up on posters with their attacks - especially regular posters - but also not a fan of posters calling out someone who has been a regular poster AND graciously contributed cash in sponsoring a contest. It’s one thing when a book stiffs you - you paid money and assumed risk = your entitled to complain as you took a risk and won but were not paid. Failing to receive an award time on from a free contest isn’t that - you sustained no loss. Don’t participate in future contest if you don’t feel like dealing with the chance of not being paid/not being paid timely in the future - but again keep in mind if others got theirs and you did not it could be a simple issue.

No obligation to offer the payout in a convenient method for the winner. Simple fact is any gambler playing offshore should have crypto wallet for the last 10 years. Payment via check/money order is just outdated.

Never try to appease people by working with them and their request - it will bite you in the ass. You can’t even GIVE some people something without complaining.

JDS already extended his effort to pay SS and as long as the check is not returned to his mail I think it's better to stop entertaining SS about it. It's not your liability anymore. The whole forum knows you already paid him/her and future accusations about this matter will only hurt her, not you.
