Japan's ruling party has just elected Sanae Takaichi as their new leader, setting her up to become the country's first female Prime Minister.

Here is what she believes and more about her:As a hard-line conservative and a member of Japan's largest nationalist organization Nippon Kaigi, she champions nationalist policies. She opposes illegal AND legal immigration, citing cultural & security risks, and pushes strict visa rules to curb overtourism.

She believes that immigration to Japan risks destabilizing Japanese society and argues that Japan should stay Japan.Takaichi opposes same-sex marriage, dual surnames after marriage, government gender equality plans, and female imperial succession, arguing they threaten traditional family structures.

Takaichi supports imprisoning those who damage Japan's national flag.Economically, she backs Abenomics, infrastructure like Hokuriku Shinkansen, and bureaucratic reform.

As a China hawk, she supports revising Article 9 (that prohibits Japan from entering armed conflict) for a stronger military, reducing economic reliance on Beijing, and strengthening ties with America.

As someone mentored by Shinzo Abe, she carries Shinzo Abe's legacy. Other than downplaying Japan's past wartime atrocities, she sounds like an incredible next PM for Japan.

A huge step in the right direction for Japan! My thoughts:As a Korean, I do not like her downplaying what Japan did to Korea and others 100 years ago.

Also Dokdo is Korea's. But the self-flagellation has to end. In the same way slavery is used to bludgeon Americans and the Holocaust is used to bludgeon Europeans, Imperial Japan's past crimes are used constantly by liberals to bludgeon Japan to not allow them to be proud of Japanese heritage, culture, and history.

It's the same self-flagellating brainrot that also tells Koreans we are not allowed to be proud of our history and culture because of past mistakes.
These humiliation rituals of having people constantly apologize for sins of the past they did not commit essentially only serve to emotionally blackmail sovereign nations into accepting globalist garbage and mass migration.

We can learn from the mistakes of the past but we must move forward into the future.
I see nothing wrong with a strong, sovereign Japan. Japan should stay Japan. Japan for the Japanese!
