There isn't enough impact to people who do this on planes.

This woman got probation (literally means nothing). She should have been put in jail, required to reimburse the airline for the delay, banned from flying ever again, and be sued (cival case) by any and all other passengers on the plane. I realize they wouldn't have gotten anything from the lawsuit, but you can put a lein on their paychecks for life until they pay up. They should make this so it tails her the rest of her life. That might have more of an impact and people would stop doing this crap.

It seems to be getting worse. Maybe just because its posted on social media but I don't ever remember this stuff happening ever on a plane 20-30 years ago.
