I am rolling with my jinx team tonight.

Giants vs Cubs. Actually I don’t have much luck with either of these two teams. However this is the reasoning I am playing it tonight.

Ok.


Giants are ice cold and Cubs surprisingly red hot. Now I don’t think the Cubs are that good. Shoot I don’t think the Giants are either. However Giants are clearly better than the Cubs.

I also mentioned before that the Giants prop on wins was way to high pre season to play it under. I feel good about that selection.

But as for tonight Giants are the play. Don’t buy the Cubs cool-aide. They are not good. Below are the stats why I will play Giants tonight other than simply stating that they are clearly better than the Cubs.


Now let’s look closer at this.


Giants actually have won 5 out of 6 of there last 6 home games.

My main reason is:

Did you know? Giants have won 8 straight games vs a lefty when at home? This speaks volume.

ALSO: Cubs have LOST there last 8 out of 11 games vs a lefty! They have lost the last 6 out of 7 verses Giants. Now you mind you this was last year. However some teams just own others.


So we will play that the tides will turn tonight for both teams.

If I may offer my input on this game Mike. You have 2 pitchers going in different directions here. Steele has been very solid over his last 3 outings and Wood has been very mediocre. The Giants are really crumbling and might be sellers instead of buyers next week at the deadline. This is a series that could decide their fate and I’m not ready to lay 135 with that fate laying in the hands of Gabe Kapler. Best of luck Mike.

All true. Just looking at pure pitching standpoint and my absolute hate for Gabe Kapler from his time as Phillies manager. But Gabe is a liberal, so I’m not full fledged hate but he shouldn’t be a baseball manager. Lol. Hope you win
