had absolutely massive sensory nerve damage in my face from being jumped and bad surgeries
Told me after 6 to 9 months what I feel is what ill feel for life
I won the bad luck jackpot and not only had parasthesia , but also dysesthesia
So I didnt just get the burning and numbness without much feeling like its dead
I got all the horrible things that come with dysesthesia . Suicidal type shit
I joined a forum for people who have been inured like me
all of them either healed or didnt heal and was pretty much
left how they were after that 9 month mark
I ,and hear me out here Kinger, went from being the 2nd worst sufferer there
to 80% healed . Guess when the healing took place the most ? Months 22 through 30
Dont let anyone tell you anything about nerve damage and its ability/timeline to heal
Medical science on nerves(especially peripheral nerves) is not as tight as they make it seem
Outside of a few things , many things to do with a nerve healing is considered embryonic
which basically can mean we dont understand all the processes that really occur .
Nerves healing are a mixed bag of hell with tightness, pain, numbness, tickling, burning ,
but the main ones you want to feel is tickling . Everytime I got worse before a 1%
overall improvement, it started with an uptick in tightness, pain, you name it ,
then after a week or 2 from going from a 8 to a 20 in discomfort , it would settle
back down and have the slightest bit of improvement .
I did that for 4 years nonstop, to come out of it 80% healed, when at 22 months in
I wasnt even 5% healed.
The fact that yours involves both sensory and motor functions , its def going to be an uphill
battle, but take it from me not to give up and I mean that shit.
