I am more concerned by the set-up of actual play and rules. 54 holes with no cut isn't necessarily bad as you see the top players all 3 days. The team thing and constantly switching teams is goofy but don't know until we see it.

I don't follow golf that much but to me this is the most interesting story going right now

Kind of like when the USFL burst on the scene and started stealing all of the top players away

It is, I know PhillyGuy just dismisses it because he's in "The Industry" but the Saudis got enough names to be viable and if they snag a few more then I'm not sure the PGA holds onto its TV contracts next go round and then it's a dead amateur product.

They will just keep coming over. Guaranteed money is an easy decision for anyone to make. I am just disappointed in the broadcast. For all the money spent on players it lacked on the broadcast end of things. Hopefully they get good feedback and make changes and have the option to watch different groups/holes.

Rory is just trying to defend against "his tour" an opposing tour that may eventually suck some $ and sponsors away from PGA.

I think those that stay with PGA will continually take shots at LIV to try and harm its image. They will especially hit on the Khashoggi (reporter) assination to portray LIV players in a bad light for "supporting" the Saudi government by joining LIV.


There also might be a slight bit of jealously from some about the hoards of money beign made on LIV tour. That's not likely from Rory but some other may be upset.

I'm confident some are chaffed they didn't get offered the big bucks to join LIV. Would love to see the list LIV made offers to.
