Philadelphia Flyers Should Sue The NHL

So a few years back, the Flyers had a starting goalie named Carter Hart.

He was very good. The backbone of the team.

Then Hart, along with a few other players, got accused of raping a woman in a hotel in Canada.

The league forced the Flyers, and the teams of the other players, to basically rip up Hart's contract while the case was going on.

Turns out, the woman making the accusations is a nutbag who lied about the whole thing.

Now, Carter Hart is going to sign with another team, the Flyers lost the best goalie the organization had, and the league, who made the Flyers cancel the player's contract, is not going to compensate the Flyers in any way for making them lose their prized goalie.

How the fukk is this allowed to happen?

The Flyers need to sue the NHL to set an example that the league can't treat it's own organizations like this.

The league assumed guilt before the trial.

I think both the NHL, the Flyers, and other teams were playing it safe in this situation. The pressure from the fans/social media when you hear that kind of case is just too much. We tend to judge immediately and disregard the "innocent till proven guilty".

You think the Flyers played it safe by the NHL forcing them to rip up a contract and lose their star goalie?

Flyers had nothing to do with that decision. It was all NHL.

Carter Hart just signed with Vegas and the Flyers didn't get any compensation for it.

This is what happens when you give minorities any firm of legitimacy.

They lie, they reach, they make claims, etc. Anything to impose their new found entitlement upon society. We've seen reckless lying women destroy men for nearly two decades now. Ball players, Presidents, Supreme Court justices, captains of industry and musicians. All lie, all go for the money, they write a book, etc. And there's always some loser segment of society that props them up. Then, when the lies get exposed, nobody is held accountable despite the damage that was done.

Minorities are not oppressed because of race or gender, they are oppressed because they are mentally ill and not suited to have an opinion in a functioning society.

Hell, just today KJB of SCOTUS, declared blacks are mentally disabled, in the argument regarding racial redistricting. She literally cited the ADA and compared it to the needs of black communities in general.
