Back in 2020 I took DeChambeau in the final round in the US Open @ Winged Foot Country Club. I’m liking his game right now & Oak Hill is a similar golf course. I will be watching him the next couple rounds I think his game is good enough form to win.

No value on taking him now in the lead @ +1100. I’m hoping he will be 2 to 4 shots back going into the final round and I can get a better number, let’s see.

I know the value is gone from the opening odds but knowing that he's one shot back after the first round wouldn't you feel good about that 11/1 pick if you were thinking of backing him?

My philosophy is, I’m waiting to see if he has a blow up round. If he can shoot around even par or slightly worse for a couple days. I will get a better number in the final round. This won’t be a small wager for me so I’m waiting for that forecast to surface. 3-4 shots back at +1500 or more.

Ok I hear ya. He starts early tomorrow, early starters usually have good rounds so you might get the best number you can right now on him. Just my two cents it could go either way
