FWIW, they changed this rule in the by-laws. Last year, had to be Conf Champ to be in Top4.

That rule was flawed. Showed that the Conf Champs often didn't deserve to be Top4.

You want another crazy rule? Look at the Conference Tie-breakers. ACC tie-breaker rules are awful. Canes got shut out b/c of bad ACC rules. 5-loss Duke in that game ahead of MiaFL.

+150 is about what it should be

They're a consensus 1 and 2 and can't see losing to a 13-0 Big Ten champ on a neutral field hurting them

It's more likely they stay at 1 and 2 then one of them misses out on a bye
