Crazy thing about that play is one of the most infamous player-gamblers of all time - then-Ohio State QB Art Schlister threw the interception.

Wonder if he was shaving points??

I said this before and say it again...that 21-pt fave stunning loss at home to UM was the best thing OSU could've had happen to them. It humbled them, reminded them they can't just show up and say "Hey, were OSU, bow down to our magnificent glory and splendor of talent", and since then it has showed; put them on high alert and they steamrolled every team in the playoffs...kept them super focused. If they trounced UM that game, as they should've, I don't think they would have won the playoffs. They needed to get knocked off their high horse and boy did they ever. I don't think I can take even +28 points and bet on UM this year. They haven't beaten any good opponent and had a creampuff schedule too, vastly inflating their 9-2 record. Biggest win was...Nebraska? (Barely.) Yes, we all said same thing last year that OSU would pummel UM, but again, that game last year changed everything for OSU in my opinion, NOT to take any team regardless of their record for granted. Yes, they have had a joke of a schedule this year too, playing an extremely overrated Texas squad and that's about it, rest are terrible, as is most of the Big 10 this year, it just stinks. The OSU defense is so good, the offense has fallen asleep most first halves and still had double digit leads by the time they woke up and ran a few meaningful plays.
I've watched UM play (as a big fan and OSU hater) this year and it's been painful to be kind.. with struggles against Purdue (yikes) Northwestern, and a blowout loss scoring only 13 to a piss-poor USC defense that's been shredded like cheddar cheese blocks. I'm hoping I come back to this thread and eat my words Sunday morning, but I feel this will be nighty-night sweet prince after the first quarter, and a very real chance UM doesn't get 14 points. They will not surprise OSU running the ball 1000 times Saturday.
