Two in Queens and one in the Bronx. Will be packed especially when big events are in town.

When the US Open ends for the night, all the action will move right to the casino! After the big Mets and Yankees games - off to the casino! And imagine the comp tickets the casinos will give out for big games and shows.

Next up they need to get the casino approved for the Meadowlands. It’s your move, NJ!

I'd bet against NY capitalizing on this successfully. Either tax it into oblivion or overburdensome withholding/ reporting.

Probably better chance it turns into a place the homeless can loiter & take a shit in a clean restroom than any suburbanites drop discretionary income on their tables.

Also, is sportsbetting allowed?

There will be a lot of hands in the cookie jar for sure. After taxes and such, you will probably have places losing money the first few years.

Would think they’d have to try for sports betting in the casinos. There are already lots of online apps in NY - just a matter of which ones partner with the land-based casinos in some way.

The one at Aqueduct now will be one of the three casinos. Right now it’s just slots but they will expand to a full casino resort.

The other one in Queens will be by Citi Field. And the third casino will be in the Bronx.
The Bronx???

Who the fukk will go to the Bronx!? I aint...

They should have put one MSG on 34th, where Kmart used to be

Why on earth would they not put one in the Midtown area???... That is where ALL the tourists go, not to Bronx or even Queens.

You wanna take the out of town money, not from the locals

Maybe put a second layer on the Javits center????
They had some proposals but none moved forward. Wynn in Hudson Yards, Caesars in Times Square, etc. All withdrawn or shot down.
