The Nuggets only won 53 games in the reg season in what was a weak and watered down version of the Western Conference this year.

True, the playoffs are the "real season" but the West Top Seed typically wins 60+ games in a stronger version of the West than this year.

Go look it up.

Memphis finished 2nd and Sacto 3rd because the West was weak this year.

Steph and Klay and Dray were only the court together for maybe 40 games this year.

The Clippers were without PG13 and Kawhi for more than half the year.

The Spurs under Pop have disappeared.

Zion out for the Pelicans.

The Lakers were average until the all star break in FEB with the great trades by Pelinka.

I think they would've beat Phoenix even if Paul and Ayton played. They have the best player in the world and they're simply deeper than Phoenix who basically relied on two guys. I think it's not far fetched to say Denver wins the championship this year and I'm a Warriors fan.

Lakers vs Nuggets is probably the two best teams in the West and probably either conference right now imo. Whoever wins this series will win the Finals I think. Nuggets have home court advantage and are very tough to beat at home so I give them an slight edge here although I think we get a 7 game series unless the Lakers can steal one in Denver somehow.
