Yeah I just to lead by example & just ignore him regardless what he says about me. One of the toughest things for me to do in life. Silence is very powerful & you know who I learned that from ? @flyingillini guy has single-handedly buried me with his silence, he’s emotionally discipline something I need to work on.

@Wagerallsports yesterday something happened with my neighbor, the only white guy on the block I really connect with, that left me feeling disrespected. He’s a veteran, and I’ve always shown him the utmost respect, even admiring his military service in a way. So, I was hosting a big family and friends party at my place, and I needed him to move his car for a few hours since he often parks partly in front of my house.

I’ve never made a fuss about it because I like him. I approached him politely, asking if he could move it, fully expecting him to agree. To my surprise, he flat-out said, “No.” I stayed calm, simply said, “Okay, no problem,” and closed his door firmly. For me, that showed real restraint and emotional maturity in handling the situation. Something I need to use on here when posters throw shade at me.

He’s definitely not that this guy is one of the most active 70 year-old men I’ve ever known. He’s like a jack of all trades. He’s very valuable to have in your community because he often helps others. A lot more pros than cons with this guy. I need to just let it go. Don’t have many people in my neighborhood I can vibe with or learn from. Majority of the people in my neighborhood don’t speak English so zero dialogue of course with them.
