Not sure how the average person on the street can watch today NBA

I will say that I think the NBA should seriously consider shortening the season to around 60 games. The stars wouldn't take off as many games and you would see teams play harder because with less games to make their playoff push they can't coast. They need to get rid of back to backs because it takes a toll on these guys having to play 4 games in 5 nights sometimes or 3 in 4. Regular season NBA is bad and I love basketball but playoff NBA is really good because teams play hard for 48 minutes on both ends of the court.

Yea for sure. I don't even necessarily like basketball but the NBA is a very shitty product to casual watchers such as myself. Flops, missed shots, crazy foul calls etc. make it unwatchable at times unless I have a bet or my team is whipping Celtic ass

Agree with this regarding shorter regular season. 60-65 would be perfect

Money is everything in the NBA. That's why people think its rigged. I don't necessarily think its rigged but there is something to the fact that ratings wise the NBA would love a long series in both of its conference Finals. Makes it frustrating if you're a fan knowing that on the road your team is probably going to have fight the favorable whistle the home team is going to get.

I'm a basketball junkie and my job is working as a basketball scorekeeper so I watch different levels of basketball from kids all the way up to NBA and even the WNBA. The 3 point shot has changed how the game is played and now with analytics everybody is taking them because 3 is more than 2 even though to be successful you basically have to hit 33%. Too many guys think they're Steph Curry and the mid range is a lost art. I love basketball so I keep watching the NBA but the game has definitely changed since I started watching in the 80's.

You must love Jimmy Buckets he is one of few NBA players left to play like the 80’s style.

You must love Jimmy Buckets he is one of few NBA players left to play like the 80’s style.

I like him and Demar Derozan. Those two guys are deadly from the mid range. I love 3 point shooting and shooters in general though. Good shooting is something that if you can do it there's always a spot for you in the Association or on a D1 team in college. Shooters for me are fun to watch and I like it more than a highlight reel dunk.
