I was thinking the same thing. It's like MLB. It feels like the season stretches on and on and on

It does, but NHL is a gate driven league. If miss playoffs you lose money. TV deals don't make big money.

Love the hockey playoffs because the last as long as they do

Usually could care less about the regular season but obviously folks like @MinnesotaFats and the Canadians that are from hockey towns and regions probably like it

I don’t like the fact that it gives players more chance at getting injured in the regular season much like football as it keeps adding games
