NFLPA calls for grass fields after Rodgers injury

The NFLPA's new executive director has called for the league to change all of its field surfaces to natural grass in the wake of Aaron Rodgers' season-ending injury.

This has been building for years. Too many injuries from the turf. Hopefully, this willhappen soon.

The downside is some games will become mud-bowl (i.e. muddy night football - MIA/PIT 2007).

Metlife has too many injuries. And rogers going down on play 4 will certainly spark a conversation

But the opponents show numbers that say the percentage of injuries are the same regardless of grass or turf

NFL is vastly rich, they can make this happen anytime if they want it. Players complain every season. The main question is, what's holding up?
