I am saying that 1am is entirely too early especially on New Years Eve

NYE is over at 12pm, the ball has dropped and thats the purpose of going out. Anything after that is just you partying based on the location you are at. Nothing different that any other night out

Hate NYE - NYD personally. Of all the days have some bad memories associated with it. When I was young it was actually fun going out - that ended night I went out and wound up staying at a buddies apartment before being woken up to the sounds of a crash. Go downstairs and car had ran a stop and T-boned someone - 2 dead. Last night I ever went out on NYE.

About a decade later a good family friend passed on NYD of a heart attack - was due to come over to watch Rose Bowl that day..got the call he had dropped leaving family members and didn’t make it. Finally - lost my mom on NYE. So yea - just don’t tend to “celebrate” the day.

At the same time I’m happy to be around to see 2025 - sure beats the alternative - especially this year.
