This game will be in the 60s+. My first play is over 58...

2nd play is on S. Alabama -4. W. Kentucky lost 2 of their key offensive linemen to transfer portal. Reed (#1 QB) was leaving (transfer portal) but at the last minute changed his mind. I'm sure that will sit well with his teammates.

S. Alabama is on a 5 game win streak. W. Kent 3-2 in last 5.

I'd disagree with you TTwarrior.

Here is each team's schedule and their opponents by week. The SP+ columns for each team is the Bill Connelly (ESPN SP+) rating system for each opponent. A larger postive number is a better team. The more negative the worse they are.

S. Alabama played a much harder general in terms of opponents.
S. Ala avg opponent rating -4.9
W. Kent -8.7 (even if you threw out their 2 worst opponents Hawaii, Fla Int they'd still be at -5.4 avg)

I'm going with a theory

When Florida talent was staying in-state playing for the Gators, Seminoles, and Canes, South Florida was pretty damn good because there was so much talent to go around they would still get the very good leftovers

I may be an idiot but I'm gonna use that with south Alabama tonight lol

W. Kent can pass. That is their game but they have a lot of opt-outs (2 offens linemen, #2WR). I think it slows them down. They are damn lucky Reed (#1 QB) stayed with the team or this might be 8-10 pt spread.

When S. Ala played similar (not identical) passing teams this year, they did exceptionally well and the score were always high.
