it seems like you have statistics on everything
KVB definitely knows his stuff, JJ.

When called upon, my office can really flex some data muscles.

We produce all kinds of stuff, much of it data anyone can accumulate and everyone can have access to, but it's how we manipulate and use that info that matters.

It's not the info, we can all get it, it's how you use it. It's not the size of the wave that matters, it's the motion of the ocean that really counts here.

We can learn a lot from you, KVB.

Betting the unranked team as a dog at home has been profit this season, but it's eclipsed by the large losses when those unranked teams go on the road.
Notice the win percentages for unranked teams at home above and the estimated ROI compared to the league as a whole in the previous post.

Then compare the same for the away schedule.

Today #11 Baylor travels to TCU and TCU is the home favorite here.

Notice from above posts that TCU is 2-0 when at home facing ranked teams and the Big 12 has 15 wins for unraked teams at home against ranked teams.

But we have the other extreme today, too, based on some tables I posted in this thread.

We have an unranked Miami heading to #10 North Carolina and they are 14 point dogs.

14 losses.

But remember, the league overall win percentage for unranked teams is 27.4% and when those unranked teams are favored at home they are 26-14, or 65%.

These aren't necessarily predicitive, they are just facts.

Check all the charts in this thread, but especially for this check out post #12, 16, and 17.
