Nevada ranks relatively low in several rankings of the best states to live in, including:

  • U.S. News & World Report: In 2023, Nevada ranked 38th out of 50 states. It ranks near the bottom in education and natural environment.

  • WalletHub: In 2023, Nevada ranked 40th in WalletHub's "Best States" list. It ranks low in affordability, economy, education and health, and safety.

  • Violent crime: Nevada's violent crime rate is 19% higher than the U.S. rate, and it ranks 11th among all states for violent crimes.

  • Housing costs: Nevada has the third highest housing costs in the country.

  • Debt to earnings: Nevada has too much debt and not enough income to pay it.

  • Children's well-being: Nevada underperforms when it comes to children's well-being, health, and academic outcomes.
ALL ABOVE SPOT ON and TRUE

The housing costs here are mindboggling

looks like a wonderful place to live

That's a crying shame.

There should be no such thing as homelessness in the USA.

We have billions to give to Ukraine but nothing for homeless Vets and others.

God must truly be filled with mercy because I would have taken this planet and thrown it into the sun.

i thought it was the native americans? or the blacks that built all the high rises and invented everything? which group are we claiming was oppressed at the moment, i can't keep up!
Are you serious?

What country was established here before Europeans came?

Name it.

The natives here were a bunch of diverse groups separated among themselves who went to war and enslaved each other.

There wasn't any nation.

The USA is wholly European foundation.

The fact that natives lost their land isn't a concern for me nor should it be.

If Europeans hadn't come here to establish the greatest nation the world ever saw, none of us would be here.

Therefore, I would prefer to be thankful for their bravery and conquest instead of being a whiny asshole complaining about our own existence.

...............they are moving to NV
NO STATE INCOME
yes

Medical has been improving though over what it was 25 years ago (thanks to Henderson)..........still subpar overall.
One of the best things about Philly....

The hospitals.

Best hospitals around.

Children's Hospital of Philadelphia aka CHOP is the BEST Children's Hospital in the world.

The BEST.

If your kid is sick and can't be diagnosed....they will cure him.

It's un fukkin believable how good they are.

Pennsylvania is probably one of the most underrated states in America
Truly.

Pennsylvania is gorgeous..Stunning in fact.

The Appalachian mountains here are insane.

In the Fall the entire mountains change colours.

Then you got beautiful rivers, people go white water rafting, camping, skiing in the winter.

In the summer, the Jersey shore is less than an hour away.

Best of everything here.
