More then likely the best all around basketball player the NBA has ever had......not much offense but did everything else well and he didnt need to score to win 11 championships! RIP Bill

He was from the state of Washington saw him on a ferry once. A gentleman in every way.
Played at University of San Francisco he spoke of going to play in New Orleans and his first experience of segregation said it hit him like a ton of bricks.
He was a legend in Boston though and sure they will be doing tributes for him this coming season.
