Tragic that it was not only him and his wife - but his kids as well along with the pilot.

Statesville not a big airport by any means - been down there a few times. But it’s how these guys live and many fly in and out of small airfields like that all the time.

Racing is absolutely a huge part of the community down in that area. It’s not just the drivers - but all of the employees at the various shops.
