So Harvick and Elliot along with 3 other teams will lose crew members (car chiefs) due to inspection failures at Las Vegas. They also lose pit selection prioritiy.
Is this a big deal? How leveraging is this? Does it impact your selections for the race?

I'm not a huge Nascar player so I'd like some with more experience to chime in.

It is a bigger track so pitting selection I wouldn't think is as big a deal as it would be if it was say Bristol. I am not too familiar though. I just look at which drivers are stud and which are not at each track, how practice went, and keep track of what drivers to win odds got hammered and make my match-up selections by those 3 factors and have always done well in match-ups. If my match-ups lose it is because of a crash or pitt mistake or just lose on last few laps. No reason to switch off just looking at those 3 factors.

I don't really care about qualifying either unless it is a smaller track or road race. gL this weekend!!
